Hello, I’m Anna. As a mama and a professional who has been working in Women’s Health since 2012, I understand the challenges that come with breastfeeding. I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM), a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP), and a Certified Educator of Infant Massage (CEIM). But more than anything, I am a dedicated advocate for mamas and babies.
My personal journey into motherhood was marked by a challenging struggle with infertility. After 5½ years, my husband and I were finally blessed through IVF, first with our oldest, and later with twins. These three beautiful miracles, and everything it took to bring them here, have shaped my approach to care and made me especially sensitive to the unique needs of each family I work with.
Since 2017, I have been putting my expertise to work as a Lactation Consultant, assisting mamas and babies with a range of lactation concerns, including latch issues, milk supply, pumping strategies, tongue-ties, bottle feeding, the introduction of solids, weaning, and more.
After having my first baby in 2017, I started Prenatal Insights, my own private lactation consulting practice. I had worked in an OB/GYN office and found that there was a greater need for breastfeeding education and services. I wanted to help mamas breastfeed with confidence. I worked to educate and support women with infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and breastfeeding.
In 2026, I completed my Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of Utah and became a licensed Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) and Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM). As I pursued this path, I knew I would need other lactation consultants to help educate and support mamas, so I added several incredible women to my team and changed the business name and focus to be all about lactation.
These credentials allow me to offer medical care right here at TLC. I can diagnose, prescribe, and order labs, so when a breastfeeding problem has a medical cause, you can have it treated in the same place that supports your feeding. If a painful latch turns out to be a nipple infection, I can treat it. If your milk supply is low and your thyroid may be the cause, I can order labs and prescribe. If you have mastitis, we can care for your latch and your infection together, without sending you somewhere else. I can also help mamas bring in a milk supply for adoption or surrogacy, and support you through the hormone shifts that come when breastfeeding ends.
I founded The Lactation Collection (TLC) with one clear purpose: to educate and support YOU in your breastfeeding journey. Today I lead an incredible team, with Ashley Lee as our head IBCLC, providing expert guidance and care to help you navigate your breastfeeding challenges and to celebrate your successes. We are dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment that respects your choices, acknowledges your efforts, and empowers you to feel confident in your breastfeeding journey. Let’s make this journey together, for the well-being of you and your baby.
