Meet your lactation care team

Full team picture of The Lactation Collection

IBCLCs and in-house medical care

Our team brings together International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) and in-house medical care from Anna, our founder and a Certified Nurse-Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.

The IBCLCs guide you through the hands-on work of breastfeeding. When they spot a medical cause behind a breastfeeding problem, they can bring Anna in to diagnose, prescribe, and treat.

Together, we’re here to guide, celebrate, and empower you through every step of your breastfeeding journey.

Your medical provider

Anna Burch; RN, IBCLC

Anna Burch – Founder & Medical Provider

DNP, CNM, WHNP, IBCLC, CEIM
Utah County, South

I’m an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM), and a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP). More importantly, I’m a mama. I have three children, our IVF miracles: first our oldest, and later our twins. As TLC’s lead provider, I offer both lactation support and medical care.

When one of our IBCLCs spots a medical cause behind a breastfeeding problem, they can connect you with me to diagnose, prescribe, and treat as part of your TLC care. My medical visits are available in our office or by video or phone. Helping mamas breastfeed with confidence is my passion.

Ashley Lee – Head IBCLC

RN, BSN, IBCLC
Utah County

I’ve been a Registered Nurse since 2011, in the mother/baby unit at Timpanogos Hospital. Since 2019, I’ve been working solely as a lactation consultant in the mother/baby, Labor and Delivery, newborn ICU, and peds unit of the hospital. I have loved being able to help new moms learn the skill of breastfeeding their brand-new babies.

Breastfeeding is a natural thing to do, but sometimes it doesn’t come naturally. I struggled when I had my first child, and I didn’t have the resources or the knowledge that I do now. So it’s my desire to help moms feel confident in their breastfeeding journey.

As a client, you can choose to allow mentees to join your in-person or remote consultations (we encourage you to consider allowing them).

Our IBCLC mentees come from diverse backgrounds in fields such as human development, nutrition, and diet, enriching the support you receive.

Mentees assist under the guidance of our experienced IBCLCs, gaining valuable hands-on experience through consultations, breastfeeding support groups, and classes.

Through this program, they accumulate the necessary hours for their IBCLC certification.
