I’m Megan, a midwesterner, mom of two, and a dance-in-your-kitchen-to-Whitney-Houston kind of girl. I graduated from BYU’s nursing program in 2020 and since then, you’ll find me in the hustle and bustle of Salt Lake Valley, working as an ER nurse & Lactation Consultant at Holy Cross Jordan Valley Hospital

In 2021, I became a mom to a precious baby girl who, bless her heart, was colicky. Boy, did that come with a steep learning curve and a heavy dose of delirious sleep deprivation! Surviving that period made me realize how essential it is for parents of colicky babies to have access to support, education, and resources. And I wanted to be that source of help.

Now, I run @thecolicnurse on Instagram, sharing advice, offering support, and building a community for parents navigating colic with their little ones. In 2023 I became a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS), and in 2025 IBCLC I became an international Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I’m excited to bring that additional layer of expertise to my mission of supporting parents. So whether it’s colic or breastfeeding you need help with, I’m here for you!
