Breastfed babies may get gassy for a few reasons:
- Eating too fast – often with a bottle
- Swallowing too much air when crying
- Exposure to certain foods
What makes my breastfed baby gassy?
There are a few things that could make your baby gassy.
This could include certain foods that you're eating.
It could also include baby swallowing air, whether they are bottle feeding or breastfeeding. And this could be caused because of a shallow latch, because of a tongue tie or lip tie, because baby is eating too fast from a bottle.
