I’m Megan, your typical midwesterner who loves a good scoop of gelato. I’m your dance-in-your-kitchen-to-Whitney-Houston kind of girl. My nursing journey began at Primary Children’s Hospital while I was in nursing school, and in 2020, I was thrilled to graduate from BYU’s nursing program. Since then, you’ll find me in the hustle and bustle of Salt Lake Valley, working as an ER nurse.

In 2021, I became a mom to a precious baby girl who, bless her heart, was colicky. Boy, did that come with a steep learning curve and a heavy dose of delirious sleep deprivation! Surviving that period made me realize how essential it is for parents of colicky babies to have access to support, education, and resources. And I wanted to be that source of help.

Now, I run @thecolicnurse on Instagram, sharing advice, offering support, and building a community for parents navigating colic with their little ones. Plus, I’m currently working toward becoming a board-certified Lactation Consultant. I’m excited to bring that additional layer of expertise to my mission of supporting parents.
