Lindsay Foster
I’m Lindsay, an experienced RN and IBCLC, dedicated to nurturing new families. With over 14 years in Postpartum, NICU, and Women’s Health, and as a mother of five, I deeply understand the nuances of breastfeeding. Achieving my IBCLC dream in 2019, I’m committed to offering compassionate, expert lactation support, guiding your journey with care and confidence.
IBCLC Certification: L-157316
RN License: 5195853-3102
Service areas: Wasatch County; Summit County, Southwest
I graduated from the University of Utah’s College of Nursing in 2005, completing an internship in Labor and Delivery during my last semester. I’ve always been drawn to working with mothers and babies.
My career began in Corvallis, Oregon, where I worked in Postpartum care and the NICU. The exceptional lactation services in Oregon sparked my passion in this field. Over the next 14 years, I worked in Postpartum departments across three different states, continually supporting new moms in achieving their breastfeeding and pumping goals.
Alongside my professional journey, I became a mother to five wonderful children. My personal experiences with breastfeeding, including both successes and challenges, have deeply enriched my understanding and empathy. Despite knowing a great deal, I hesitated to seek help from an IBCLC when I faced complications—a decision I now regret.
In 2019, I accomplished a long-held dream: becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). For two and a half years, I worked in Postpartum care, Pediatrics, and the NICU in a hospital setting. My career path also included brief periods in general Pediatrics, Instacare, and currently, a part-time role at a boarding school for neurodiverse teens, where I manage their medication.
Through all these diverse nursing experiences, my passion for lactation has remained a constant. I’m thrilled to now focus on supporting women in their breastfeeding journeys, right in the comfort of their own homes.
